Quick “heads up”:
Usually the Lauch day, or better the launch hour, is a messy process.
All I planned still holds true but it could easily happen that there’ll be connection issues or even trouble downloading the patch and go south very fast.
Fingers crossed…
I follow the adage ‘never play on patch day’ 
And that’s a great idea, usually- my only hope is that I still have the installed data from the Beta and historically that has proven to cut down on download times.

Ok, downloading the update…
Install button remains blacked out on my install. Could it be that it’s a steam install but I haven’t found a way to get my frontier store bought key onto steam.
Have you tried logging off and on Steam again?
Can’t even install it even though I pre-ordered. Button is just blacked out. And clicking download from the account page yields this:

Someone on the Elite forums reported this
" the install button was greyed out, pressing enter started the download…weird"
EDIT: have you tried downloading the new Client?
