F-5E DCS - Pull to Cage knob doesn't turn

Before takeoff the instruction is that the Pull to Cage button should be set.

I try turning it with my mouse and it doesn’t turn

I try using the command Lalt + Lshft + V as directed nothing happens

I downloaded the F-5E from DCS in 2026 so I should have the latest version.

How do you turn the knob.

I also don’t hear the ground crew when I call on them to do the command to hook up before starting the engine

I video turtorials where the knob turns and the voice command is heard,but I do not nor can I turn that knob.

If I remember correctly you first have to press the right mouse button on the knob to pull it?

Once you do that it should turn with the mouse wheel while having the pointer over the knob or by clicking and dragging the mouse over the knob.

EDIT: No I checked and apparently

  • if you are starting from COLD START

    and

  • if the knob is pulled

only then you scroll the mouse wheel - while holding the pointer over the knob! - to push it in and rotating it to select the correct setting.

Otherwise it should simply rotate, when you put the mouse pointer over the knob and scroll the mousewheel.
