What I meant to say is BMS is already great, maybe still the most repeatably enjoyable sim in my library. Anything that helps assure its future is great news to me, even if it stops being virtually free.
MP developing stuff on top of BMS and selling it vs simply selling copies of the original F4 are two very different things, legally. If BMS went open-source under a permissive license, things would be different, but i don’t even see how that could happen, since it is all based off of a leak. Basically the whole BMS IP is such a complicated situation, that there will never be a commercial project based on it. All they mean by “support” is, they’re happy with BMS chugging along as long as it generates F4 sales.
To me this also means that there’s no immediate plans for F5, because BMS would compete heavily with that.
I see what you mean.
Although he didn’t say MP would do that. I read it as BMS would just continue merrily along and MP would reap the rewards from owning the F4.exe.
But I see how you could read MP into the sentence and maybe that’s what he meant. I just didn’t read it that way.
This.
Starting from Scratch,
Any “Falcon 5.0” would take 3-4 Years to see alpha.
Unless they go the T.W.S. Route.
What is the TWS route?
Total War Series comes to mind but other than that title I am just as confused with the abbreviation @WarPig.

I think it’s a reference to Track While Scan.
A scammy looking operation of a… uhm… Sim that give players literally everything they want for almost nothing.
Color me dubious.
Remember, they Changed the name, lol.
Oooooh ROFLMAO! Yeah! I wish them a veyr much fail.
Looks around to see if anyone else is still lost.

Seeing as the 2 Lead Pursuit Expansions of the Code aren’t in there, I’m Guessing they don’t have the source for them.
