I have to admit it: I;ve been playing a lot of Farm Sim 22 over the past month. First on my XBox, then on my Flight PC, which had been idle since … February? Dang.
Farm Sim 22 has become my go-to game as it is easy to pick up and put down, letting me relax into my ADHD nature while plowing, grass cutting, or whatever, and build up my farm business. I do enjoy a good game with a building mechanic.
And Wouldn’t you know it, Farm Sim 25 was just announced - available this November?
Not sure how many others are out there, but I am looking forward to this.
We still play Farming Sim 19, I never made the jump to FS22. I wanted to, but I wanted to wait until it was polished and cheaper, because I have added a lot of stuff to FS19 with mods that I did not want to give up.
…and then I never bought the new one.
Edit: and I just realized that I might have to buy that one twice, for multi-player with the kids… my poor wallet…
I should try it. My stomach for violence and/or complexity has severely diminished since Ukraine, Gaza etc. Two phases I NEVER want to hear again in ANY game or film are “lock and load!” and “Git some!”
Same here. I love my flight sims, and I love (loved?) the complexity of combat flight sims - so much to learn! But I am also hesitant in a way that I wasn’t before. Not sure if it is strapping on the headset (what with WMR leaving and by HP Reverb G2 getting an expiry date), or chasing marginal gains with hardware upgrades, or having so dang much to learn to feel competent), or that I am more sensitive than I thought to events?
