Fedex

Been waiting with enthusiasm for my Virpil package FedEx promised would arrive before 1800.

I am watching Sean of the dead.

One of those movies I stumbled over a while back. Loved it.

But what about the package?

1800 eta was changed to “end of the day”. I waited. Never arrived.

This morning I got three emails and a text saying, ‘arrive by 1800’.

At least it has moved from ‘in transit Duiven’ (Arnhem) to 'in transit Woodhall Spa. That’s about twenty minutes away direct.

I think the grip looks like Sigourney Weavers “Alien”

Lots of cable sorting and positioning of controls to do

That looks fantastic - what a nice bit of kit!

I am so so envious. Fliss must hate me for getting you hooked on this

Do you have a ladder you can use to get @scoop off the balcony when she locks him out there this winter?

Sadly the one quote we have is prohibitive for the balcony windows. We are getting more though. One window will open and I will have a rope there to aid a fast exit if a fire starts or the taxman comes. I may make a rope ladder as Fliss is less keen on fast roping.

I will do a review once I have mastered the stick. So far am incredibly impressed. As well as the larger array of springs and cams to chose from, it is possible to adjust the spring tension without any dismantling. I am thinking 12 turns of the 2 screws will pretty much remove the need to trim the Huey.
