Flight Safety

I was looking around for an old mascot from ~30 years ago, called the Flight Safety Vulture; a cartoony vulture with a crazed look on his face and the US Army’s flight safety logo on his chest. Unfortunately, it’s apparently not a thing anymore, but while looking around I came across this story on reddit:

I think this story and the replies in the thread are very, very pertinent lessons for all of us, especially those of you that fly for a living.
