This article says 2600 though.
Anyway, I didnāt see dual rows of cylinders, so I thought the R-1820.
All speculation, of course!
Unlike the Boston/Havoc
Iām a moron, yeah the B25 had the 2600- I donāt know why i kept thinking about the B-26 apologies.
Oh boy I wish that one was real.
Goshdarnit- what did I look at?!
I think I read someplace that they wanted the 2800 for the B-25, as it was the best engine they had, but the production line was already maxed out.
Someone over at MSFS claims it is a B-17. No details as for the source, though.
I read on the Flying Iron discord that itās not a plane with 4 engines butā¦
Yeah, the cowling doesnāt look quite right for a B-17 either, but it could be WIP or maybe the 3D perspectiveā¦
Yeah, only time will tell.
"At the end of last year, Flying Iron announced that they would be developing a WW2 āheavyā, and have now confirmed that it is the B-17G Flying Fortress. No great surprise there - a good choice, as everyone loves a Fort. They made the confirmation on Discord.
This is unfortunate because Iād rather have a dose of herpes than use Discord, so, if anyone is willing, can they copy and paste what the announcement actually said. Much appreciated in advance."
