Hoped on for a bit, knocked down the SA-11 at Olenya (35) I believe, and got a good chunk of the SHORADS from what I can tell. There are definitely a few left, and the Laplandia Storage seems to have a few SA-15’s/19’s as well. Taking a break for dinner for now.

Just gonna leave these here…

It was a fun session last night. @jenrick did the majority of the real work. I took the Mosquito up just for a laugh…I mean, what could possibly go wrong? I was lucky in that the site was on the top of a hill. I killed the SA15 while flying up the slope of the hill. There were two missiles fired at me but they lost me in the ground clutter I guess. Maybe I was in too close for them to get a good track.

All the airfields are now ours. There are still some targets that need to be neutralized and they are well within range of the air defense provided by the warships north of Murmansk. I’m thinking it might be time to break out the Viggen.

Says the man who killed the SA-19 in a MOSQUITO that killed me in a Warhog.

Here’s the current map:

and if you’re bent is towards CSAR the SA-10 and SA-11 complex at Sevormorsk and Murmansk wasn’t kind to the AI.

Awwww I was about to login!
What happens if I connect now?

Sorry we missed you!

If you log in now you could try to take out the small fleet of warships located north of Murmansk. Alternatively, I think the mission can be reset from the radio menu. We could do that while we figure out what map we will be using for the next round.

Kola was a fun map. It made a nice change from the desert.

Server is probably down due to an internet outage in my area…

I’m sorry I missed this post..I only realized that the campaign was complete when I logged on a few minutes ago and saw the whole map was BLUE. Nice job. I wish so much I could have participated more than the first couple of days..but things conspired (work, soccer tournaments, commitments) to make it such that I couldn’t.

I was just logging in to fly since I’m on the night shift..and no telling if I’ll be paged in in 60 seconds or at 2AM..or not at all. I’m just numb about @Victork2 and have this pit in my stomach about it. Like..it can’t be real that he is gone. He was here on the site pretty much every day. It is just so hard to register.

I’ll figure out something temporary to put up on the server until we figure out what we want to do next.

I will post the statistics for Kola participants probably tomorrow when I put them together.

I think just reseting the mission would be a good answer. That gives everyone a place to fly if they like, with something to do while they’re online. And it doesn’t require any work or planning to make happen.

Or perhaps fire up the Caucasus version so that everyone that has DCS installed can participate. Might be nice to just fly and chat.

I like that idea. Meeting in te sky flying F-14s has special meaning these days

I remember splitting the bill to donate the nevada map to a fellow mudspiker with Ace so they too could join us at fight club back when that was a regular thing.

That seems like the best idea.
