You dont need the full game for that?
Nope, It’s considered a standalone expansion pack. If you already own the game you can integrate it, but otherwise it’s it’s own thing.
It might even be worth playing for 2 hours, and then Steam refunding Northern Inferno if it’s good and then rebuying the combined package - it’s pretty much the same price as the full one anyway?
Cool, I will have to weigh the price vs wife anger to see if its worth the risk and give it a try.
Great idea - write it up too so I can decide too!
Some good Deals at the X Plane org store
Two spotlight items, if you will, would be… The A350 for $35 and the 747-8 for $35. I will say this the 747-8 seems to be on the daily specials for $35 once a week too.
I watch that page religiously…
Looks like Arma sales are on…only 20% Arma 3, but 80% off the others. I still play a lot of Arma 2…it has aged well actually…
BeachAV8R
Picked this one up today…to add to my enormous list of X-Plane aircraft…on sale for 24 Freedom Dollars…(that’s about 67 oz. of maple syrup for you Canadians…)
Need for Speed: Most Wanted.
Free on Origin, although going soon:
ARK has gone free to play, or rather they’ve chopped off a mode from the main game and then let anyone play for free in a ‘competitive MMO with prizes’. It might be fun to ‘Mudspike tribe up’ and go collect dino poo, as in it’ll be worth what we pay for it and the Teamspeak will be handy…
Nexus: The Jupiter Incident is one of those old gems of a game. The ip was bough out by Nordic Games last year and just received a major update that makes sure it runs on modern OS. Also 75% off
FSX Steam edition is on sale now.
This is a nice deal on one of my favorite FSX planes…the Quest Kodiak for $12.46:
