The Anno game series numbers always add up to 9. Anno 1800, 2205, 1404, 1503, 1701, 2070, 1602 (1+6+0+2 = 9 etc), you name it. I don’t know where it came from, but best guess the first two games were 99 years apart and then they decided to just roll with it.
I got that, but when you posted the picture blurred and then @komemiute giggled I thought there might be something more to the joke that I was too dense to see ![]()

M1TP was my favourite Microprose sim. That box art imagery is seared into my brain.
Lying in wait hull-down behind a hill, watching for the red swarm, never got old.
It is hard to believe that game is now 33 years old…and the real Abrams has been in service since 1980. I am sure it is a far more capable tank today, but still, that is 42 years of service and it isn’t going to be replaced anytime soon.
A new Dune game has been announced!
Dune - Spice Wars.
A dune themed RTS, now where have i seen that before? ![]()
What I like is the 4X part- so a better overarching strategy to go with the tactical Real Time combat…
For when you want to get your “Western” on … free till Dec 14 …

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun on GOG.com

Shenmue 3 FREE on Epic Game Store!

Thats not a bad game for a freebie. Mystery games every 24hr on epic is my favourite bit about Christmas
Battlefield 2042 free weekend on Steam - might give it a go:
In a similar vein, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is free to play for the next 3 days - you could probably finish it if you stick to the main story. Overall I think I prefer Origins, but this one has some neat stuff:
I didn’t know about the free weekend on steam. There were rumors though. Thanks.
Btw, epic store has their Christmas sale on and $10 coupons. So, allegedly you could probably pick up bf for $10 cheaper at epic.
Also at ubi.com, ac:odyssey is $15. But with their 22% off code, it’s $11.70. Steam isn’t always best. ![]()
