I mean that’s the whole point. 
The whole game could probably occupy less than 50 MB? 
Much like a ligthsaber - it’s a game that “Not as clumsy or random as a early 3D accelerated jank; but an elegant game from a more civilized age”

Played an hour and it’s glorious! Granted, given the tribute it pays to past glories it’s… jank. But the good one, you know?
I got the same vibes I used to get playing Chuck Yeager’s Air Combat (for the graphics) and LHX (for the gameplay)
Also- I have to improve…

Sure as heckfire in both cases.
This weekend is my daughter’s birthday plus I have a lot of stuff to do, but if anyone’s interested I can live streaming on Twitch.
In my case I use my full gear, which includes MFG Crosswind rudder pedals, Thrustmaster Warthog Stick + Throttles.
Track IR is not supported but anything you need to do can be assigned to the HOTAS buttons.
It does feel like it’s an arcade game- which is the intention. In a certain way it’s exactly what oyu would imagine Desert Strike would feel from the cockpit POV.
Less simulation of LHX or Gunship 2000… which, let me say it, it’s exactly the sort of stuff I need!
Other people play it only with the XB360 controller and others only with Keyboard or Keyboard + Mouse.
It also supports Steam Deck, just in case.

Halo MCC was $9 on steam
Too bad 343 refuses to bring Halo 5 to the PC,
You can literally play the entire backstory from Reach → Halo 4 for $10.
