Meta holiday sale…trying to figure out what I might like:
Browsing the Meta store. It is pretty amazing how few VR games there are that appeal to me. That’s not to say there aren’t ones that are good…but the marketing on them is largely terrible…really corny music put to questionable gameplay cuts. It’s exhausting just to go through the catalog…

Yes, it’s brutal. Flanking works, but frontal assault is suicide.
Expect to walk a lot, and stick your nose to the screen to see a pixel in the foggy distance.
I like it, because Tarkov trained me well. But won’t play it too often, I guess.

I’m tempted even though I already have one and a half play-through’s under my belt, just to get the extra stuff from the special edition. I can’t even get an average coffee for that price.
Playing skyrim always makes me think about how cold it must be. Oooh look a new sword. Ahhh never mind, its froze to the ground and the handle is stuck to my hand.

The thing is, skyrim is kind of an infinite game. There are so many super detailed mods adding completely new character’s, graphics effects and details, not to mention storylines that it seems like you could pretty much play forever.
