Ok finished the training session and it plays like a modern game! Miles ahead of ARMA 3 which already was a whole new world compared to ARMA 2.
I really really like it!

The ARMA series are great games, but they have sometimes 3 big issues:
1st - The keybindings distributions sometimes is a sado-mase relations, manytimes completelly out of logic and structure. Sometimes for the same thing you have diferent keys only because now is an equipment X or Y. If you play all others shooters that have exactly the same functions and features you have much better experience in other shooters.
2nd - Its well know that many times the AI is too much non human over precise, sometimes you die fast with the first shots from terrorists (non trained guys) in hip fire without scope with an AK-47 like +400 meters away. when you are prone on vegetation.
3rd - ARMA sometimes is like the duck, duck can swim. walk and fly but far away from being excellent on each.
Anyway i still recommend them.
Also the performance is miles better than arma and looks far better

Damn right it is! I was so surprised!
It’s a real pain to shelve ARMA 3. Honest.
I can’t do it, yet… Actually. But I simply see no reason to keep it… Reforger is such a massive evolution that is almost incredible.
Edit: and in fact also the experimental branch is even more remarkable!

Just installed Reforger Exp. on my God Box. It runs a flat 60 with everything turned to max. It looks…

Yes about performance i also confirm, even with my vintage pc, it runs smooth and perfect and surprisingly it looks better and runs better than arma3. Sad that (without mods) it not have MBTs.
Reforger alone, even being a tech demo of what can be a future arma4, its a great game.

While i do agree, i also quite like the fact that its a bit more small unit focused with mechanised infantry battles.
Arma 3 used to get bloody silly sometimes with the tank battles

Just showed this to my boy, who digs it. So I went and set up a steam family and… of course of the 500+ titles in my steam library, 20 are exempt from family sharing by their publishers. This among them. Meh.
