So…Clair obscure expedition 33.
I’m about 4 hours into it. I WANT to like it. I think its really cool. But does the story speed up a bit?

Somebody asked the same on the Steam Forums, and this was probably the best answer.
So back in the day we had these games that were “slow burns”, where you don’t get overpowered quickly and you actually have to think about how to play the game.
It goes however you decide it will go. If you decide to look up a glass cannon build and build for that, you’re going to demolish things. If you take your time and explore, you will be rewarded. How you play the game is entirely up to you, but speed running to get damage and 1 tap things will drain what enjoyment is to be had with this game, as games of this quality and caliber do not come around often.
My eldest just finished a play through of that …game of the year for her…:very good voice acting, interesting story line and a lot of polish for a small company …a few of the triple A game devs could learn a lot from them
There are parts that i think are wonderful. Just kind of want it to get to the point a bit. I feel like I’ve missed some exposition or something. I love the battles though. Really good fun pulling a perfect counter off
So I’m going through the games I got on the steam sale, and the latest one is Parking Garage Rally Circuit:
Friends, if y’all like arcadey racers from the nineties, buy this as soon as possible and inject it into your veins.
Curious to try this standalone mod of the good old Battlefield 2…
Self contained, not BF2 required, free and apparently very fun!
PR was great mod, enjoyed it back then
Still playing Oblivion Remastered and enjoying it quite a bit.
Finished RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business, which took about fourteen hours, and that’s missing some side quests. Holy crap, it’s even better than Rogue City. They added more of the good bits (shootey shootey, fun/funny side quests), improved the writing (this game can be both so funny and so heartfelt when it wants to be) and really reduced what was annoying about Rogue City (bomb puzzles, boss fights).
Also, you can pet multiple cats.
Game of the year for me. Gonna take a short break and then jump into New Game+ very soon so I can get ALL the side quests and hidden ■■■■ this time. I ■■■■■■■ loved this game.
I got the first for a couple bucks some time ago and I barely started the first level.
I adore it, every single detail of it.
My only issue is that my PC runs lava hot when playing. Well ok not really but it’s pushed as hard, if not more, than DCS.
Mine as well. Explosions of a certain size made it shut down
Does turning down the graphics help? I played this mostly on my gaming laptop with a 1070 in it, so I turned everything to low. Still pushed the laptop a bit, but overall I had no issues.
I’ll give it a try, but I’m a bit of a graphic’s slüt.
Aren’t we all
Are you over clocking the CPU or GPU? If not you may need to open up the case and blow out excess dust.
No not at all, pc is completely clean. Only does it with robocop.
Ok now that is bizarre. In that case I would look online and see if there are any known issues with that game and the latest driver for your card. I assume you have an Nvidia GPU?
I’d point my little IT finger towards Unreal Engine.
Maybe something to do with DLLs or drivers or something…
Not the first time I hear something like this.
I don’t know but I’ve played several Unreal 5 games by now with no issue like the one reported here. Stalker 2, Robocop (my first U5 game), Ready or Not and Oblivion Remastered have all run very well for me.
Now that I think about it Robocop did crash on me on quitting, with an Unreal Engine error pop-up window…
