GUYSGUYSGUYS! Look at this! Sky On Fire : 1940 // PC & Mobile by ISNI

That reminds me very much of Warbirds from way back in the late 90’s. Very clean and smooth. I wonder if they will make it VR compatible… it would be epic.
Had a chance to finally pick up Battlefield before last week’s weekend. Played through the campaign and then hopped on multiplayer with a friend (later 2) and I would almost say I had a good time like the days of old.
Nice find. Reminds me of those old shaded polygon sims from back in the day.
Reforger bodes well for ArmA 4, but I want to see more depth to SP. I’m not sure I want to see this Delta Force-esque approach of going in alone.
I think that since they are honing their engine and gameplay mechanics it’s easier to concentrate on a smaller subset of tasks. Enemy AI for instance- it’s easier to tweak all this stuff on a smaller scale rather than outright full blown clash of armies…
Plus if they manage to optimize on the small scale- it benefits large scale too.
On top of that maps are small-ish for now.
But generallyu speaking, I agree.
I loved the first two/three missions in OFP were company-sized assault to cities! ![]()
AI squad mate mechanics are still a bit rudimentary. Haven’t found a way to change marching formation, for example.
I guess that’s one reason why they don’t send you out with a squad every mission.
Most servers I’ve played on, you can’t command the AI.
Here’s hope that will change, now that AI Logi driving was improved with 1.6. ![]()
looks great , plays great ( on Android ) : 120fps , 3d cockpits , stalls , spins , belly landings … what not to like !? ![]()
OMG OMG This is out! YES!
and the developer recognized the “sliding all over the place” bug and fixed that and several more issues!
I’m getting it as soon as I am back home.
I’ve now put about 5 hours into Kingdom Come Deliverance II and overall I am enjoying it. If you want to play a game where you feel like you are living in Medieval Europe, I highly recommend it. The only word of caution I have is that this game is a VERY “slow burn”. Lots and lots and lots of cut-scenes with dialogue and not much action as the story very slowly unfolds. This is definitely NOT a game I’d recommend to those who only play fast paced first person shooters.
