Yeah the whole finale is amazing!
Guys- I am lost…
I can’t stop playing Powerwash Simulator.
Got it for my son last summer and gave it a quick try before deleting it (he has it on his own PC now) but HOLY HECK!
The dopamine hit I get for every -ting!-
of a completed element…
I have to micro dose it
I had the same problem in car mechanic simulator (at least I learned a bit about cars there) and when washing things in Farming Simulator.
So simple yet satisfying!
Come and wash my vehicles…
Me and els are installing death stranding again. Gonna give it another go
It isn’t something I could play again. For me it was such an emotional roller-coaster and once you know the ending it kinda destroys any replay-ability.
But I would encourage you to play to the end, even just focus on the main story, because the result is so rewarding.
Finished this the other week.
Goodness Gracious! What a wonderful mix of jank, brilliance, perfect gunplay, tight controls, Quake style graphics and plenty of all types of references to movies, games and whatnot.
It’s a must play!
Only gripe I could confess is that some secrets are a little too obscure and I needed a guide (luckily the official wiki is perfect) a few times.
Get it. ![]()
You know… I actually would, given the power washer and unlimited time/water.
I recently bought Robocop Unifnished Business and I’m enjoying it quite a bit. If you are a fan of the movies I highly recommend it.
I enjoyed hours of Guild Wars 2 before it became free to play. Loved it, but went on to other games over time.
Guild Wars 2 was always free to play, I think.
You just bought the box and were good to go for as long as you wanted.
And yeah, it was great. I am tempted to hop in again to see how they expanded the game. Looking at the map it seems that they have most of the Guild Wars 1 areas covered now. Would be nostalgic.
Actually, you had to pay for the game when it was launched back in 2012. The base game became free to play in 2015. I believe you had/have to pay for expansions, but I haven’t looked at the game in some time because I eventually lost interest.
Ah, I think I didn’t understand you there.
With free to play I meant no monthly subscription.
I wasn’t even aware that you don’t have to buy the box anymore.
I got myself the collector’s edition with the Charr miniature (which is actually pretty massive) on release.
Cool beans. It happens.
Awesome sauce on the collectable figure.
With Tom Clancy™’s Ghost Recon™ Breakpoint™ being 90%-off on steam I’ve been roped in to playing it again (I’ve owned it for years on Epic Games Store).
I previously gave up on it because, on release, it was so bug-ridden in the early game that it wasn’t fun to play (quest-breaking bugs and a weird weapon upgrade system that made being seen by drones a death sentence since you couldn’t quickly kill the drone with un-upgraded weapons, was my experience). Since I last played the game they’ve fixed a lot of the bugs, I’ve got to act two with only one obvious bug that prevented me collecting bonus items but didn’t prevent me finishing the quest. They’ve also given you some options about how much of the weapon-upgrading you want to have to deal with, and with most of that turned off it’s a much better game.
It’s still an Anvil engine game, for all the problems that brings. The two worst ones for me are:
-
the faces look absolutely photorealistic in their resting expression, but as soon as they try to do anything else it looks like the deepest uncanny-valley robot wearing what I hope is a rubber mask. In one of the early cutscenes your character smiles and every time I see it I fall off my chair laughing at how awful it looks
-
the performance is terrible - on a 7500f with a 3060 Ti I have to roll back the settings to “High” with no AA at 1440p or the game will be fine 90% of the time and a stuttery mess the other 10%. Unfortunately this makes the bokeh effects in the cutscenes look awful… on “High”!!!
But, I am having fun with the game now. The gameplay loop is the typical open-world “pick a mission from the map and go do it”, and you can easily jump in for fifteen minutes then put the game down and go do something else if that’s the sort of thing you’re looking for. And of course every game is better when played with friends ![]()
I’d say it’s worth the local equivalent of $9 AUD if you’re looking for something like that to pass the time, on sale on Steam until December 7.
I’ve been curious about Breakpoint, as it often goes on sale, then goes back to original price (79.99 Canadian??)
That’s good intell Torc, thanks
I played through Breakpoint in cooperative mode and it was a ton of fun.
