I’m a big fan of grunt level space combat, and can say with certainty that Craig Alanson’s Columbus Day is one of the more entertaining “reads” that I’ve had the pleasure listening to in the past few years. If you have an Audible account then know that the narrator is more than up to the task of delivering this very un PC and sometimes humorous version of Red Dawn v1, where the Soviets are played by 6 foot hamsters in battle rattle riding assault ships. Great stuff and much deeper but to divulge more would spoil the fun.
