This is kinda cringe-worthy. I know all aircraft and weapons manufacturers do rollouts like this with grand special effects and marketing and all that…but this kind of event just seems weird to me. Looks like a cool airplane though…(would love to see it in DCS!)… The lighting effects/flag colors on the aircraft are pretty cool too though…

Seems like one mean son-of-a-gun. Carries all the shiny new A-A missiles, has both an AESA and IRST, and has modern data-linking, etc. I don’t know much about the Gripen’s handling or flight characteristics. Pretty plane though.

Ok, if i was a high ranking military official with channels for procurement of the grippen, i may just have shot myself in the foot to get out of there.
That said though, there was some very well done lighting (which was the only thing getting me through )
