Handbrake... Another crazy DIY

The new mount made the brake lever juuuust a little bit hard to reach…so I made a new lever.
Old one to the right, new to… U guessed it! To the left.

So, as my SimBox has to be stowed away, or rather converted into furniture (a bed bench) on short notice, the huge BRD-N stick must be taken apart to fit inside.
The Warthog handle screws off easily enough, but the converted scope adapter mount for the handbrake must be unscrewed using tools…
This takes a whole minute, and seconds count during a hot scramble :wink:
Since I had the bright idea about using a picatinny scope mount, earlier, I thought there must be some quick release weapon mounts as well.
I scoured ebay, and et voilá!

I also added a pushbutton. Guess I can use it as a parkbrake :slight_smile:
