The navigation system has me in a perpetual state of “wat?”
Like it seems to do what it’s supposed to but… just… what?

I can say, quite categorically, “No, not that kind of different”.
The navigation system functions based off of doppler radar dead reckoning and you cannot enter a waypoint with a longitude of >100 because the Swedes never thought the aircraft would leave northern Europe, so there was no point in having it.
Exactly, it’s like they made some really strange design decisions “because”.
Soooooo, the caucuses then ? How ?
Well this’ll be interesting…
I feel like that Whiterun guard in Skyrim.
Curved Swords. Curved… Swords… Doppler Navigation…
I used to do navigation in viggen, then I took an arrow to the knee
Very carefully.
My understanding is that LNS added in some entry logic that isn’t, shall we say, 100% realistic.
AJS-37, now with added lollygagging!
It works fine in the Caucasus. It’s just that your first waypoint is in the Baltic.
I did that in the Mirage the other night…
NO LOLLYGAGGIN’
Sort of. Not necessarily unrealistic, it would have been done in some similar way as a field mod if the Viggen was ever deployed beyond Swedish borders.
Interesting!

@BeachAV8R with this recent influx of developers from all sorts of communities I think we should go a little Mad Max on this with our own version of Thunderdome? Developers use their opposing products in an arena of choice!
TWO DEVELOPERS ENTER, ONE LEAVES… Well Both leave, BUT ONE IS THE VICTOR. Perhaps.
Can’t we keep them? They’re so cute and cuddly… Pleeeeease! I promise I’ll feed them.
