If it makes the device affordable, I’d say it’d be worth it. The Vectrex was such a strange beast that it’d be so expensive to produce those kinds of parts again. This also comes with the benefit of eliminating the buzz that a lot of them had from not having shielded speaker wires right next to the ray tube.
