Came across this blog and I thought of @TheAlmightySnark 's failing RAM stick.
The idea is that you can measure precisely which small parts of the RAM are faulty, and then tell Linux to just not use those parts, but keep using the rest of the stick. So you only end up losing a few megabytes instead of a full 16 GB stick (or more).
Looks pretty dope. I’m not sure if our Snark has moved to Linux yet, or if anyone else runs into this problem. But if anybody is interested in this, I’d love to help!
