Oh man I remember the first battle prototype (must have been 15 years ago) when the game was still meant to become an MMO.
It was then that I learned that combat with newtonian physics can actually be fun.
I actually contributed to the project back then, I did a few HUD designs, 3D models for buildings, and helped gather astronomical sources for planet system generation stuff. Good times, even though the project sadly went nowhere.
IIRC Flavien was the only developer back then, before he founded I-novae together with Keith.
