Hmmph…sounds like me and FSX…oops, was that out loud?!
Maybe you can find a key with a reseller?
It is still available afaik, I will see about the link shortly!
It’s listed with Office365 home/student but it’s quite neutered:

I would not recommend a business license, as they are over a few hundred dollars each.
The other one is the Home&Business, which is hidden on the Microsoft Store:

What’s the fear over an Office 365 subscription?
…think I saw something about it in the Book of Revelation…
I don’t think there’s a 2019. After 2016 they went 365 with the whole SAAS thing. Could the 75 year old do with an old version?
2019 is around, they just would rather you go to 365.
Generally speaking, it makes a hell of alot more sense. At work we bought into 2019 for most users, but now we need 365 for Exchange so our remaining users are now getting 365 subscription licenses.
The 2019 prices are not good enough to make 365 look bad, especially if you buy the family bundle (thats what I have at home).
365 pays for itself within a couple years, unless you plan on running Office 2019 until it’s not compatible with Windows.
To be honest I’d rather just use LibreOffice and ditch MS Office completely.
(In fact I did that years ago)
I use Pages…its for Mac…Shsssss…don’t say it too loud.
Looks at his install of Office 2007 Ultimate…
Screenshot for proof. Because I love that it triggers people…
I’m telling ya’…everyone is going to LOOOOVE the GeoCities format we are moving to!
Me three Office 2007
You know guys, admitting your software is so out of date on the internet (this includes Windows 7) is almost like walking around outside with a megaphone admitting that you leave the keys in your car ignition every night, there’s a spare key under the welcome mat, and the front door is unlocked at night.
I use the free versions of Malwarebytes, Avast, and PrivacyBadger.
Only problems I’ve ever had was with Widows updates…
Windows update is a brutal mess on Windows 7.
On Windows 10, once you get up to the current 1909 build it’s a pleasure. Deploying 20 towers in the office, having to get the patches including those for office was a breeze. If you have multi PC’s you can even local cache updates that then automatically share over LAN saving bandwidth, while not quite the same that sort of feature used to be limited to enterprises.
That is actually being kind.
You’re right - I rather like Windows 10 security features and stuff. The only reason I really stick with Office 2007 is because it is so damn fast. I tried Office 365 and for some reason…it has a delay between typing and characters showing up. It might only be a millisecond or something…but to me, it is annoyingly noticeable. I have no idea why I notice it, but I hate it. I type really fast and akurately, acruately, …errr…well, I type really phast.
Any-who - I tried Libre Office but found some very frustrating image embedding problems (that are probably just my resistance to learning something new). I did make a major, major breakthrough last year though - switching to GNU Image Manipulation from years and years of Photoshop. It was painful…and I’m still not as good or comfortable with GNU, but I did it.
You can also try OpenOffice which is a different flavor of it.
