Just a small “thank you” to developers that include information during their splash screen or initially in-game that tell me there is an update ready, or that the version I’m running has a new release. Lots of developers do this, and lots don’t. I know Eagle Dynamics does it, Shade Tree Micro Aviation (X-Plane), X-Plane does it, and ORBX does it if you launch their configuration tool.
Anyway - for people like me who struggle to keep up with the latest and greatest…it is a great way to communicate with customers.
