Glorious invention of Great Worker’s Paradise, comrade Ilyushin’s Shturmovik! I am number 3 on this sortie, out of 6 total, on our way to destroy imperialist fascist artillery raining terror on the great Motherland.
Behind me is second flight, all glorious pilots desiring to destroy our fascist invaders!
Our enemy’s crude guns were no match for the Shturmovik’s glorious power! Za Rodinu!
I manage to destroy many of the cannon, many of truck; I also destroy fascist anti-air gun on the return. Leave no time for picture!
Our glorious Mikoyan escorts return before us, as seen by their brilliant lights ahead.

Luckily for me my armor held up long enough for me to take out the AT gun that was using it for target practice.

Yep, I always make those fly through attempts too.
Not sure if the track worked since Great Battles has a real nasty habit of just stopping the track without telling you but I flew through a hanger that was 90 degrees off the runway centerline in a P-51 at a pretty good rate of speed and just clipped the ground as I exited. I just bent the prop and scraped the bottom a bit so I still had enough air speed to climb to an altitude that was high enough to go around and make a successful dead stick landing.
What made it more challenging than most of my attempts to fly through a hangar was the treeline I had to just clear before I entered the hangar.

Usually the only way I can tell them apart is the cut wings of the Tempest… And in that picture the angle made it quite hard to see them!
