LLoyds bank from Monday is banning on its credit cards all purchases of crypto-currency.
…and then a flood of excess GTX1080Ti cards will hit the streets…yum yum…
I wouldn’t trust these cards to hold out for long. They are probably quick stressed out from the thermal impact already.
Heh, just like cars have never been crashed, CPUs never been overclocked we’ll see cards “never been BitCoined/Mined, pinky swear!”.
Oh…now that you put it like that …but on the bright side, prices of new cards might follow a somewhat natural path downwards, cause from what I can see that really isn’t happening
Yes that is my hope too, unfortunately RAM is also expensive right now. It’s a bad time to get a new computer.
Isn’t it always?
Oh, 1080TI prices WILL drop like a stone, very soon.
How I know? I just bought one…
I wish that all your wishes come true and my only problem will be how to compres the TI into my mATX case
God I hope so. I could use both new RAM and a video card.
I have the Fractal Design Node 804 mATX case, and I could fit the Asus 1080TI ROG Poseidon.
…and I for one thank you for taking one for the team, looking forward to the inevitable price drop…
So Lloyd’s is telling Bitcoin to “byte me”…get it…
