Just returned from another MC solo tour

I’m back… just returned from a 3-week solo motorcycle tour. This one I called my history tour. Went up from Florida visiting Civil War Battlefields (mostly in Virgina area) and the War of 1812 battlefields, (Mainly just 2 on Mackinac Island up in Northern Michigan), with a 2 day stop over at Niagara Falls, where my wife flew up and stayed with me. And visited old Army buddies again.

Will share the battlefield pics and videos later, once I go through them but here’s 2 videos of Niagara Falls if you ever thought about going. It’s beautiful.

Awesome!
Must be nice to do a solo trip like that. Make your own agenda and follow it in your own pace.
I mean, I love my family and vacationing with them, but I long for a trip of my own. One day… Won’t be by MC though…

Well easy now that I’m 5 years deep into retirement. The kids have grown up and out, no grand kids, and dog passed. Anytime I feel like it, I just go while I can before the pain and age sets in. Retire early if you can folks!

Seriously, if I didn’t still love my wife after 35 years of marriage, I’d be gone much more. But got to come home once in a while. lol

Next trip in Sept. Alaska.

That’s really cool Magnum, solo bike run.
Ya I’m in my first year of retirement and much of my focus is keeping healthy and relatively fit. Quality of life is the focus now and a bike road trip sounds bloody awesome. Though I don’t own a motorcycle.

There is nothing quite like solo touring on a MC… It has been a while since I did it, last time I didn’t choose a destination, just got up each morning and picked a direction.

Amen to that.
