@Navynuke99, Brickset has a review up.
I was going to pass on this, as I must limit my collection… But it’s going to be hard to stay away from the LEGO shop when this drops…!
How cool is this!?
Thats lovely. I wouldn’t mind that for my shelves
Excellent piece.
Holy crap y’all, I really, REALLY want this now!
Get in line!
Oh my lord I want that so badly. My boy is utterly fascinated with the titanic and Britannic.
Hes not even 5 yet and he can name the ships that assisted, where the survivors were taken, who found the wreck, the submersible used. For some reason the story and the sinking really gripped him and he’s really interested in it.
We went to a ship wreck museum in Cornwall on holiday and they had a few trinkets and pieces of the wreck that had been recovered and it took off from there. Couldn’t give a toss about aeroplanes but 100 year old ocean liners are right in his wheel house.
Love to build this for him
I was the same way- I read every book I could get my hands on about Robert Ballard, and about the Titanic- I still have a lot of them. I’m not sure exactly what it was, but I obsessed as well.
Titanic VR works with Oculus or SteamVR with Revive. The animated scenes are a bit dated, but exploring the wreck is pretty amazing. My kids love it.
My name is supposed to be on a plaque, on the virtual ocean floor. I backed it on Kickstarter, but haven’t actually tried it yet.
“For him”?
For him! To look at but not touch. Through the doorway to my man cave
AAAAAWESOME!!!
Grave Digger!!
Very awesome! Also, if you ever make it to North Carolina, Grave Digger is based out of here.
My boy is crazy about grave digger. He loves it
For the love of God do not show that to Obi.
Hes already angling for a massive mobile crane for Christmas
Guy I bought it off showed me two big lego technic cranes. The red one (42082) is far superior to the yellow one (8421) as a build and to play with. In fact, it is far superior to this digger, but I been hunting the digger for years…
These things become much more affordable 2nd hand…
Indeed.
The collectors value of LEGO is considerable! But that’s just if the box is sealed and in good condition, or it’s a really old and exotic kit. LEGO isn’t cheap, but I still think it’s good value for money, as it lasts for generations. But if you sell one that has been built, it’s easily half the price, even if all parts are present. Not to mention the price of bulk LEGO, which is really cheap.
