I like the new F1 helmets…
Of course, the LEGO Minifigs are out of proportion for a a car this size, but their large noggins are perfect, when seated in the cockpit.
Day one purchase.
Now when do we get Jazz?
I feel so sad. I did something absolutely horrible today. But I saw no other way.
I love lego. So does the rest of my family. We have a literal metric ton of lego in the house. Technic, city, starwars, friends, all kinds of lego. My kids do not play with it as much as I used to do, but then, phones didn’t exist back then. So the lego is there, but it hardly gets played with.
The kids room, being always full of lego is very difficult to clean. One does not simply vacuum a builders’ room, right? Every brick is sacred, every brick is good. If a brick gets wasted, dad gets quite irate… ![]()
I bought sorting cabinets for the kids. I bought a big bin. I tried a huge 150cm by 150 cm flat bin. To no avail. They do not clean up after themselves. It gets everywhere and as a result the kids room becomes a filthy mess.
The lego is so messy, it’s not even fun to play with. There’s too much, too mixed, too many half built things and decaying things. It’s a mess. And sorting it all, it’s just too big a job.
So today, with great pain in my heart, i packed it all up and moved it to the storage attic. If they want it back, they can earn it by cleaning their fuggin room. It breaks my heart tbh.
I’ve heard rumors about this for a few months now, and it’s definitely shifting some things in my budget in preparation.
Instant buy!
I hate how well Lego has my demographic locked in.
That’s pretty freaking sweet, damn. I wonder how much it costs…
Edit : no I don’t.
This guy built a Millennium Falcon out of every LEGO set

but then he got an actual Millennium Falcon set

Here’s his full profile with a lot of recent alternate builds:
Snagged the Enterprise D with the little shuttlepod! Happy ![]()
cmon, you killed me with that set, looks amazing
I think they botched the nose… Looks wierd.
It makes me want the Tri Motor from Temple of Doom, complete with deployable raft.
yeah a bit, its a classic weirdo things when you have a lego conversion. It remembers also the weird small belly under the nose tip of their concorde.
Lego very rarelly create from zero pieces to shape better their models. I think Cobi (polish brand) sometimes on some models create custom pieces to perfectly shape some parts
There are natural limitations to what kind of shapes that can be constructed from a given set of pre determined parts, but we often see fans of LEGO modifying existing designs with better solutions. I’m not surprised if we’ll see a better looking DC-3, built by a fan using only a few extra parts.
Another thing I don’t like with this DC-3 model is the engines.
I’ll pass on this one, unless I see a good modification for it.
