Can’t wait for Air Hauler 3: Escape from the IRS!
Which was the one that you basically had set up to operate without any help from you since you had some AI pilots doing runs for you, or at least I thought you had something like that set up???

So last time I dipped in here was about a year ago…right after my divorce. Basically it has been since 2021 since I did a revenue flight for MAD. With my Quest 3 I wanted to revisit some X-Plane…so figured I might as well do that while making some money.
Loaded up the C-17 that I own and that has been parked in Portland for the past few years and just did a pick up commodity that would get me some quick money…
The C-17 can carry a lot of chickens… $10 million dollars worth…
The C-17 isn’t the greatest plane to fly in VR…the manipulators aren’t very friendly…but it all worked out and it all came back to me.
I thought I was taking videos to grab screens from…but the new NVidia App changed the symbology for recording in the corner of the screen…so I screwed that up. I made it to Everett with no issues. Fun stuff…made some money…
Even with your absence it looks like your little company has been doing quite nicely for itself.

Well…it was losing about 350K a month for rent and insurance and base fees. So a couple years x 350K a month put a ding in the bottom line… I should have laid everyone off and closed the bases.
I thought you had set it up for an AI pilot or two to take on jobs automatically?
Was that a different module?
Wheels
No…I never did figure out how to get the AI to do like scheduled route automatically. I am able to manually assign them trips…but I haven’t figured out the automation part yet.
I have been unable to find a way to setup automatic air cargo routes but I did find a pretty decent tutorial, about 25 minutes long, for setting up automatic air passenger routes.
Air Hauler 2 Scheduled Passenger Routes

That’s unfortunate. The last time I fired up AH2, it had been a few years as well. I don’t know how the aircraft survived but my loyal minions kept flying their little lives away on the scheduled passenger flights.
The financials curve was quite the opposite to what you posted
Are these scheduled flights only shown to your company’s or do you have to compete with other players for these routes?

setting up automatic air passenger routes
iirc thats the only thing that can be automated in AH2 unless they changed something in one of the last patches

My game was just in the offline mode, I don’t think there’s any competition with other player companies (although that could make things interesting!) Not sure if that changes for the online companies.

“Fox 3 on Acme Air Cargo…”

Doing my 35 mile delivery of 248 pounds of shrimp… I need to do my magneto checks…compass swing…oh…and get on with flight service and open my VFR flight plan…can I go off frequency for a minute? No? Really??
Man I just can’t get enough Trump gifs. Keep ‘em coming!
LOL, once (once) we flew a section of T-45s into PHX rather than stopping in Williams Gateway for gas, because…reasons.
So, there we were lined up at the hold short: 777, 320, 757, 2 T-45s, 747…
Talk about size anxiety!
I guarantee you that all of them (minus MAYBE those with fighter backgrounds) looked down at your little flight with a mix of awe and envy.

Hehe, that’s the way I look at them now!
How times change.

Probably depends on how good the AC works in a T-45 in Phoenix depending on the time of year…
