Reading on the Corsair brings back a bit of nostalgia, or maybe some more 
It was the first model kit (1/72) I threw on a glossy finish and in my child eyes the F4U in this blue tone, shiny and new, was the best plane I’ve ever built and painted thus far! Recklessly I bombed my German Panzers with it 
Now the question is open if it will be a hangar queen for me or if I join the carnage trail on the Marianas…

the torque is pretty ferocious, be gentle with the throttle, apart from that seemed very easy to get into the air
flew around witn mininal controls set… must have missed somthing or been a bit harsh with the engine, and we have an instant glider
was aiming for the trench 
but was getting a solid 72fps in VR on the new marianas map … far better than the old one

Yes, she will send you whipping around if you aren’t careful.
This ain’t a 172, you don’t need to floor it. A nice slow throttle increase will always benefit you. You can hear throttle inputs on take off:
Firewalling it will be a bad idea, to say the least.
