I’m recalling fond memories of frantically trying to set down an A-10 on the coastal highway between Novorussysk and Gelendzhik after eating one or more MANPADs, losing an engine, avionics, and most of the hydraulics.
The plane stops real good when there aren’t any wheels on the landing gear.

We need the ability to fly an Mi-8 or Huey out with parts to repair in the field - kind of like Arma… I know it puts “game” into the “sim”…but damn, sometimes I like some game.

I’d be happy with just’ pickup ejected pilots’ type of feature.

Me too.
That and resupplying artillery with ammo by sling loading stuff.
And of course transport troops and actually see them in the helicopter.
