MOZA Racing is Entering the Flight Sim Hardware Market

Just ordered the AB9 base, MH16 stick and the MTP throttle. Stick has a 4 to 6 week lead time.

Once the MTLP panel comes into stock that will be a purchase as well.

Plenty of time for me to get my flight sim cockpit set up.

This will accompany my racing cockpit.

SOLVED by resetting axis tuning. I didn’t realize that you shouldn’t have curves or change saturation in DCS with FFB. @Troll this should probably be moved to the Moza AB9 topic. Thanks.

@PaulRix did you notice being out of forward pitch trim in level flight? Frustrated why I was having difficult flying the Phantom yesterday when she is normally very well behaved, I took some test flights when we returned from dinner. I realized that to maintain level flight, I was more of less out of pitch trim. That was also why my altitude hold refused to function.

I tried various maps, altitudes, air speeds, throttle positions. all with similar results.

F-4E pitch trim in approximate level flight. Still wants to climb slightly.

Other DCS modules trim to level flight normally. F-5E in level flight.

Before loading DCS, both Windows and VPC joy test show return to center.

So something changed with the latest HeatBlur updates to the Phantom.

Hmmm interesting. I can’t say that I noticed Dan, although I am hardly a competent DCS F4 driver. Are you using the mechanical trim option in the MOZA software or have you mapped the trim through DCS itself?

SOLVED: curves and saturation edit not
