Years back I flew for an airline (Mesaba/Northwest Airlink) that operated the Avro RJ85 version of the 146. There were a few jokes that went around the crew room- “the only airplane with 5 APUs…” “4 jet engines and a .68- .70 cruise speed…” However, it was very spacious for the passengers and was one of few airliners able to get in and out of Aspen.
Cool to see what looks like a study level version in MSFS.
It has been a long road to our latest stable release. We are happy to introduce some long-awaited features, stunning visual elements, and more realistic simulations of various A320neo systems.
The curated release notes contain important information regarding this version.
The Milviz Cessna 310R has been released.
Quite pricey but it looks very feature complete.
(circuit breakers, passenger models, persistence, the plane even gets dirty over time)
In the 301?
Already built in. You can have it with very basic equipment, but also with multiple different newer equipment, such as the GNS530 or GTN750.
The Leonardo Mad Dog MD-82 has been out a week now and is everything I hoped it to be. It’s one of those where you can tell it has been developed over the years with much love and care, but the occasional minor previous generation’s oddities still exist (such as an app outside the sim for loading etc. some lower grade textures in places, and last gen sounds). But these are minor and I don’t notice them one bit. It feels amazing to hand fly, is incredibly in depth, books of documentation, I just can’t wait to fly it each day tbh ).
Recommending another set of flight missions from the in-game store. LABS- Low Altitude Bush Sprint flights, easy, medium, and hard. You have to follow the route and stay below the assigned attitude, rise above for more than 5 seconds, game over… pretty fun, nice sightseeing locations too…
Biggest takeaways are to check your junk folder for the authentication emails and make sure the popup blocker isn’t blocking the download from starting.
Haven’t done too much with the Zibo (or XP11 period) since I found the FBW A320, having to re-learn the Boeing-isms is taking me more brain power than I thought. (Though I’m also a bit under the weather which isn’t helping.)
I’m definitely missing the cabin ambient passenger/crew noise and the EFB, though at least the EFB we’ll get at some point.
I’ve only done a brief shakedown flight so far, hoping to get a bit more in-depth with it tomorrow.
I doubt I’ll get very far with it tonight as well. I have an early am departure tomorrow so I’ll be calling it an early night. Hope you are feeling better soon @boomerang10 .
My email took forever, so I’m flying the 146 haha. Will be installing after this flight, though probably won’t touch the 737 until wednesday now. It’ll be my first time flying one
