Yup. All things have trade offs though; main issue with underwing is you need taller landing gear, and it means the engines are more exposed to FOD. Fine when you’re working from large, well maintained airports. Not as ideal for smaller fields.
I imagine the Honda jets config is great for short field ops. The engines are well protected from FOD yet still in an easy to access location.

It looks like it will be a massive update.
It is also quite likely the DC-3 in the announcement comes from Aeroplane Heaven if I can read between the lines correctly. While waiting for it, it was actually the Beaver that made me really excited for the November update.

Is all this stuff really free (no additional cost, rather)? I thought I read a long time ago that they were looking to monetize helos and gliders. Perhaps plans change.

Wow. That is quite a plane to be a “stock” aircraft. Anything Inibuilds does would be an easy day one purchase for me, this eases the pain on the wallet!

I would have been hyped for ‘just’ helicopters! Or proper built-in glider support! Even a historic pack with Wright Flyer, Spirit of St Louis (no front window has to be awesome in VR!) and DC3 would be a great pack…
But then they really blew me away.

In case it hasn’t been mentioned, the Halo Pelican is now available. I installed it a few minutes ago and plan to fly it tonight.
Why they not put the Halo Pelican cockpit with a G1000???
About the inibuild A310 is very exciting, nowadays if one of the top best airliners for xp11.

I did my tailwheel differences in one if those few yaers back so it will be a no-brainer for me.
I am curious whether besides the visuals in VR the memories will bring me back also the smell of oil, sweat and vomit in the cockpit
