Ah! So the one in the MS Marketplace is the same one?
just be sure its not their new Trislander
cant check the marketplace from my end right now as new update for MSFS just dropped and I am on slow connection
I was really hoping for Central America/ the Caribbean/ South America.
Edit: …and I saw who made the Beech.
Dangit, never mind.
Who? Is that good or bad?
Not that versed in MSFS addons and need directions…
Carenado.
I got burned by them with several planes in XP11, so I don’t buy their stuff any more.
Carenado aircraft always had a reputation for looking good, but being rather light in systems depth. I found them pretty good for just flying from A to B. I have enjoyed flying their MSFS offerings. That might be because the state of the SDK has resulted in quite a few ‘Lite’ aircraft for MSFS, and in this arena, Carenado aircraft hold up pretty well. I’m looking forward to flying this Beech 18 when I get home next week. If nothing else, it looks great .
Good info!
Back in the days, Carenado was quality. At least that’s how I remember them from the FS2004 days…
In my case, it’s been a lot of the stimulation moving on with updates, which have broken their planes. When the pace of updates for MSFS, I worry about that affecting things in the future, so for now I’m just going to wait and see how they look in a few months.
I had a good old time in the Carenado Beech 18 for Prepar3D. It didn’t have any warts that I remember. Made for a good freight haler and bush plane in the PNW.
Having Valdez as a hand-crafted airport is a nice addition! I was hoping they had fixed a couple other of the glaring issues with that area immediately around the field but unfortunately not. Still, having more detail at the airport itself is nice.
The detail at the field is nice but the auto-gen is still a mess in the area for both trees and the lack of buildings in town:
(Edit - After running some other updates I hadn’t yet done through the content manager, the trees issue specifically has been resolved for me. Unfortunately the gripes with town buildings still remain).
The long waiting MiG-21 from GKS to MSFS was released and i only saw it now.

Bought it and will try it soon. I love what they did for the P3D.
Edit after try:
Its awesome and very fun to fly. As expected because delta wing, it is a pain in low speed. This aircraft is a true challenge and not give you any margin for errors specially when landing.
To have an idea of his cockpit, check his manual (its public):

Are you interested in doing a review, comparing this with DCS’ MiG-21Bis?
Without enter into deep details I can say this:
I’m not a MiG-21 real pilot, but both looks very realistic and plausible for what a kind of aircraft should be.
It have some side (most right side switches) not working but they are not obligatory and usually many civil flight sims not have fuses and this type of switches working (even 100 usd add-on). Mainly all the systems works as should and in some degree much as a study level aircraft. Far far far away better than usual military fighters released for MSFS.
About interior and external model, its super detailed and even tiny animations are all there. The textures looks realistic and with PBR and not looks plastic. It have wearing and weathering and you feel that you are there.
Radar controls were changed by a bendix NAV/COM equipment for easy use on MSFS and in a empty area in the bottom left they put an XPDR. OFC weapons are not there (unlike P3D version) but this is what MS enforce to be on marketplace. The sound is very OK.
So DCS vs MSFS MiG21: both are excellent and you not go wrong with any of them. If you realy like both sims and really like MiG21, get both of them!!! Many times an aircraft+simulator is like the advertisement and the big success of what ipad on release was, its not their core hardware and internal memory, processor, cpu, etc, Is what you can do with it!!! As so, DCS with MiG 21 you can combat, deliver weapons, campaign take some fights etc. MSFS with MiG21 you can fly, nav flight trainning, patrols, etc in places were DCS will never cover or have maps there. Also fighter pilots in their career more times fly without press the weapons trigger than in combat delivering weapons
Looks cool. A bit like an EZ on steroids.
So cool I would have bought a real one
For those who did not fancy the fact that default MSFS aircraft offering was too much ‘glassy’.
That’s cool!
That would really pull me back to many of the default planes, especially the more classic ones.
