MSFS Add-Ons & Releases

You guys convinced me again!

She’s a nice flier. Good looking too!

Top tips for MSFS2020 #1:
When you want to have a quick flight and are having issues with a Microsoft Addon, DO NOT under ANY circumstances think it’s a good idea to use Steam Verification to check your install.

That way, you’ll avoid deleting all your downloaded installed packages and have to re-download everything from scratch for the rest of the day/night.

Hi all,
Im looking at MilViz F-100D. Does it work w MSFS? I Know it was meant for fsx… is there any hope for it in MSFS?

That’s a good tip. Happened to me after the very first update of the game.

I haven’t heard of anyone converting it. Until they do, it may work in MSFS, just not very well unfortunately.

Thank you. I will save my money and compounded interest untill the DCS HUN releases.

738 releasing sometime between 23-31 August. No word on pricing, though Rob’s comments in the video about this being a “big package” with “eight airplanes overall” has me worried this will be the most expensive release for their FS2020 variants thus far. I’m not quite sure how the 738, BBJ2, BCF, and the BDSF add up to eight airplanes but I guess we’ll see.

I really like the Bonanza. And I’m not generally much of a non-vintage GA guy.

I have similarly bad feelings … must … resist …

As a very happy owner, you DEFINITELY need that 310. She’ll be in several legs of my Christmas flight, I think.

I guess my decision is made then. :sunglasses:. Now I just have to wait until tomorrow for the sale to kick in.

There are quite some news on the MSFS 2020 front so let’s get to them:

The Junkers F 13 has been released as Local Legends nr 6

Not my cuppa tbh but definitely a unique classic.

City Update 1 is available for free in the Marketplace. This is photogrammetry magic released in the course of Gamescon and it brings photogrammetry to the cities of Cologne, Düsseldorf, Hannover and Bonn.

There was also an update on the 40th Anniversary Edition which is due in November this year for free. On top of all the good stuff already announced before, it was revealed that it would also include the Grumman G-21 Goose, the Curtiss JN-4 Jenny and the Hughes H-4 Hercules “Spruce Goose”.

It should also include four classic airports out of which only the Chicago’s Meigs Field has been revealed.

Are you also looking forward to November?
