I have had the Just Flight F28 in my virtual hangar for a couple of months now, but I waited for the MSFS2024 version to be released before flying it. That happened last week.
From what I can tell so far, it is well modeled. I haven’t dug too deeply into the systems yet. The first flight I did with it would have been a checkride failure in the real world as I was way behind the airplane. There is a lot to do and things happen quite fast. My second flight was much better. The flight model feels very alive… this airplane is most definitely not on rails.
I’ll report back when I have looked at the systems depth a little more, but so far I am very pleased with it.
I went with the bundle deal that includes the Medical and Cargo versions, but you don’t have to do that (it seemed worth the extra $15 to add those though).
It’s definitely a quality product and it seems to work just fine with MSFS2024.
Taxiing out. I’m not sure if Alaska Airlines or Air New Zealand fly to Jamaica, but the aircraft sat on the ramps are far better than what we had in MSFS2020.
The runway is fairly short at 4700ft, but the Landing Distance Available is only 4400ft due to the slightly displaced threshold. You also have to approach at a slightly steeper descent angle due to the terrain.
MSFS has had Learjets in the default aircraft lineup for ages… I remember flying a very rudimentary Lear with blue fuselage, white wings and red tip tanks
It’s nicely done. The RAF version still uses the French cockpit… but never having flown a Jaguar in real life, I can let that slide for now. Evidently they will possibly do a British pit somewhere down the road. Fingers crossed.
It flies well. I haven’t messed with the systems yet, but it seems to be up to AzurPoly’s usual high standard.
I have to page myself at 2AM and play it out in the cold garage to really replicate it… (he says at he sits in Columbus getting ready to head for Midway at 11PM…)
