as the bar is already dry , set on a returning flight across Madagascar ![]()
I picked up the GKS B52H for MSFS2024 today. I’m not sure it’s worth the $40 asking price, but it’s an interesting airplane to fly.
Since the Christmas Flight 2025, I have set myself a new goal: visit Antarctica!
Flight #1 was from Madagascar FMSD to Zimbabwe Victoria Falls FVFA:
Sightseeing Victoria Falls with stop close by in Botswana, Kasana airport FBKE:
Nice rides. Is that the PMDG B736?
Thanks, and indeed PMDG 737-600. My favorite!
On my way to Antarctica from Madagascar.
Flight #2 brought me to Deception Valley Lodge in Botswana, FBHV/FBDV:

Great screenshots as always! That rainbow in the rain showers.. wow

What a great way to pay tribute to Ace! Thank you!
EDIT: Yes, I am trying to win the badge for the most number of edits in a single post! **A little bit of bad news. After I created the SimBrief airframe profile (below), I was able to create a proper flight plan. Unfortunately, I ran into a number of issues, most notably the inability for the FMS to follow the plan via LNAV. VNAV is fine, but I couldn’t get it to steer to the next fix. At some point, HDG SEL mode ceased working as well, making the autopilot just about useless. So, I think that it needs more time in the oven to get a recommendation, even with the low price.**
Couldn’t decide whether to post this in Screenshots or Addons, but a few days ago I stumbled across a YT video from an IRL A220 pilot doing a mini review of - you’re thinking the much anticipated iniBuilds/Synaptic A220? Not quite. An unfamiliar developer called RMStudios, has released not only a 737 Max 9, but also a 10. The video review showcased the 10.
Basically a lot of jet for minimal cost. Currently $3.50 in the Marketplace only.
I’ve had a few short flights in it, including a departure and the early stages of some VNAV and HDG select flight. At least in VNAV it responded to an auto-throttle TOGO launch and leveled at the initial altitude of 4k ft, followed by at LVLCHG to 10k no problem. Not having time to prepare a flight plan, which revealed a shortcoming, that I couldn’t find a SimBrief airframe profile for any Max other t iFly Max8. Happily, every switch that I tried functioned as placarded.
I created a SimBrief airframe profile for the Max 10 from MSFS 2024 and online data. Max 9 to follow. YMMV
The EFB is default FS24, but it’s fairly fleshed out now with Navigraph, SimBrief, and GSX integration.
What you get for your hard earned three dollars and fitty.
I wish our tail popped like that in warm sunlight! sigh United’s is such a “design by committee” livery.
Also, @chipwich, if you are willing could you perhaps share a video or photo sequence of the mains retracting or extending? The big feature of the Max10, and one of many reasons for its long delay, is the ingenious/janky gear articulation for tailstrike avoidance. I (for a total of one) think it would be cool to see how well the sim animated it.
