MSFS - Screenshots

A quick flight from Llanbedr, a run around the Mach Loop and then up to RAF Valley.

Just Flight have really done the Hawk proud. I figured it would be special because I have their XP11 version, which was excellent too.

Climbing away from Llanbedr…

The Red Dragon paint scheme ties in the Hawk’s connection with Wales. Hawks are based at RAF Valley, and way back when, at RAF Brawdy (now closed).

Time to drop down into the valleys.

Entering the loop

Making the turn at “Corris Corner”

After the looP it was time to head up to RAF Valley and land…

Definitely a fantastic airplane to add to your MSFS hangar. It looks great, sounds great and is a blast to fly.

HPG EC145 updated to early access version 3 last week. Definitely seeing gains in the flight modeling and engines. Many avionics enhancements as well.

I’m guessing the core MSFS physics (geared for fixed wing) is still the limiting factor. I feel like I’m on rails at times. What do I know, I’m just a fixed wing puke with a couple hours of R22 instruction (years ago). My only comparisons are the combat helos in DCS which all have their unique (and deadly) handling characteristics. But this is still super fun to cruise around especially in NeoFly.

DCS and one or two famous X-plane helicopters have spoiled us.

Aerofly has some nice copters as well

I always wanted to try their EC135… hopefully next sale I will push that buy button labeled AFS2

Approaches into KLAS are really distracting at night, so I droned camera after landing to get a good look.

Yes, the fountains work, for those Ocean’s 11 moments with Clair de Lune.

Is that default Las Vegas or some addon?

I haven’t been to LV since the beta and it was…sub-par then.

FlyTampa Las Vegas 1.6. Framerate is great and the details are very good. One of my regular tramps is KSFO → KLAS so a nice addition.

Had so much flying it I burned all the fuel and had to land in the ditch…

I am so intimidated right now.

Excited, yes…but my level of understanding of how this aircraft works can be best described as “don’t touch anything”.

nice, saw it on sale also… but my level of understanding of this arcraft is… dont even think about coming any close to it

thx! that 152 is nice, but I guess I will leave it in Monrovia. my eye was caught by other Cessna but 170 from Carenado. thats my type of plane for now

You will come to love it. It’s a beautifully flying plane and there are a million liveries for her.

If I may make a recommendation, keep this handy

and use your AFE as much as you can. Understand what they are doing when you set them to a particular mode and don’t be afraid to let them do their checklist thing and then turn them off to retain authority of the engines if their settings aren’t working for you.

That will take you a long way until you learn the systems and set things for yourself…if you want.

That one totally grabbed me as well. Lovely plane. I got to fly one once. Just as pretty in person.

Though the same couldn’t be said for my landing! :joy:

Thank you! Oh my goodness, that AFE chap is great - I actually did a successful flight, first time. Heaps of stuff to learn, did not even try the AP and quickly decided that without it, my best bet was the old Garmin 430 rather than try radio navigation. I had a wonderful flight. Just need to catch up on reporting again…

An amazing module.

Same here. I got the DC-6 few days back…
…and since then just watched few videos on YT about how to fly it.

I want to take it slow and easy and go through the manual and all that :grinning:

What do you think? The FSX one was an excellent addition to my hanger, same magic in MSFS?

So far I really like it. She is quite twitchy, and you need to keep her speed up. I’m not a big fan of having to use an external app to get the airplane fueled up, add drop tanks etc (Just Flight’s Hawk does all this in the sim with a tablet). Still, they used the same sort of thing with the Gina, so it was to be expected I guess. Definitely fun to fly. I now need to get the ground radar up and running. :sunglasses:

How’s the system/damage modeling?

For example: IIRC in the real thing the V2 could be dangerously close to the Vripoffyourgear.
