nice! forgot to ask you on the previous ‘swedish flight’ if your destination for that day was LZMC or LZIB?
nice airport in the vicinity is LZPE. dont know how it is represented in MSFS though.

How you can recognize which part of Slovakia exactly I was flying above from that only screenshot is beyond my understanding
but to your question - neither of them. NeoFly 4 likes to send me to all the obscure agriculture strips so I ended up on one of them.
As for LZPE - I have seen it just from the above. It is default MSFS so I would not expect much.
My last flight Over the Hump brought me over Moran in India with nice IMC all around. This one is from shuttling down over the beacon making my way through the weather.
Runway in sight and on the apron
And these two are from my U.S. x-country journey. Few minutes after take off from Fort Smith the nr. 2 engine decided to call it a day and quit (I am using Denarq mod). I am not really used to such vistas from the cockpit in a sim
Feather the prop, shut down the nr. 2 engine, trim… and then fly all the way to Tulsa.
And all them haters gonna hate hate hate, zip it up, zip it up, gotta zip it up!
A freeware Fairey Swordfish has recently been released at Flightsim.to
This aircraft has a personal connection because my brother was a maintenance fitter with what was at that time known as the Royal Navy Historic Flight. One of the perks of his job was that he would act as crew in the back of both the Swordfish and later, the Firefly (which sadly is how we lost him).
Anyway… it was really nice to see that both the Swordfish he took care of are represented, along with several other historic liveries.
This is W5856 about to go for a quick local area flight around RNAS Yeovilton.
Time to unfold the wings…
Ready to fire up…
The cockpit is quite basic and shows it’s FSX origins. Most of the switches work though.
She’s pretty benign on the takeoff roll.
Climbing away.
Base to final:
Touchdown…
Ah, the ol’ Stringbag!
Beautiful aircraft in its own way!
I was trying out the new world update in Germany and Austria. Oh my. The textures are much more detailed. It seems that the AI generated houses, etc. are more numerous. The hills/mountains are much more realistic. It’s a real treat.
It’s really taxing my system though.
See below for the MSFS2020 screenshot and a photos that I took personally in 2010. Crazy how far we’ve come.
I yet have to try myself but it does look impressive. Pitty the greenish tint on the mountain bare rocks though. Probably a price of colouring the tiles.
Amazing!
Flying the HeliFest trek has really bitten me with the helicopter bug…
This evening I picked up the HPG Airbus H160. I have their H145 which is very good, especially with the action pack.
I have only flown it for about 30 minutes but it seems to be really nicely done.
