I tried in a hog. The pod is supposed to be able to do contrast tracking on aerial targets, but I haven’t managed to get the a peekaydubs to hit any of them.

Looks like 3 chutes? A passenger in one of the jets? I would imagine that there is a lot of confusion after a mid-air collision like that. Loud sounds, violent forces and sensory overload… No time to evaluate, just punch out.

Wasn’t exactly sure to put this, but this seems reasonable. Ignore the click bait title, it’s a demonstration of a flare/thermal masking system against anti-ship missiles. Pretty interesting to see the thermal view of the system in action.

They’re ugly, but not having to fly everywhere with underwing tanks probably makes a big difference, if for no other reason than it frees up another two pylons for stores…
We aren’t NATO, but this seems the most appropriate thread to post this… Maybe when the US withdraws we can fill a gap?
