Thruster problems cause ISS attitude adjustment - and not in a good way !
Very scary . Induced a 1/2 degree per second roll for 90 seconds , after which a docked Progress fired a counter-impulse (and , i read , another module as well) . The scary part is that Nauka apparently couldn’t be shut down , and burned until it exhausted all fuel , meaning the counter- firings burned a lot of fuel as well . I think the total incident ran about 45 minutes , so i expect some operations will be impacted , including but not limited to Progress de-orbiting , and of course , delaying the Starliner launch .
Yeah that was scary indeed.
Hope they get it all cleared up.
Nauka provides some valuable new capabilities to the ISS.
