It’s a pretty weird statistical grouping. For those that answered and finished the survey:
When it comes to the number of respondents working within aviation or holding some sort of pilot license, the numbers are strikingly similar. 17% of you work in some capacity in the aviation industry and 25% of you have some formal aviation training.
So 25% of the results come from people with some formal aviation training? That’s crazy under-representative of people with a casual interest in flight sims. I guess it being super long and also being from Navigraph means it was always going to be a very thin and specific slice through the hobbyists.
I think Eagle Dynamics or 1C should do one of these, would be interesting to see what the unwashed masses want for the combat side of things.

Indeed.
Have you not heard? The unwashed masses, IE gamers of the Xbox ilk (as well as others such as the non TrackIR evolved VR heathens) simply don’t matter next to the shining purity of the true believers.
(At least that’s what I read on the back of my cereal box this morning)
