I felt the series really went down-hill after Hot Rocks 2. The twist at the end about the CAG having mutant powers just seemed too far fetched, I kind of lost interest after that. They really dug a hole for themselves ending the trilogy neatly now. The books are far better. WE DON"T EVEN HAVE A TV!

Charisma only comes with the Electrician’s Mate module. The Electronics Technician module comes with a free subscription to World of Warcraft and a set of D&D dice, and the Machinist’s Mate module comes with bubble wrap and shiny things.
But all three come with rage, disappointment, a dark sense of humor, and a serious superiority complex.

Firing Line == Combined Arms
Hot Rocks == Flaming Cliffs.
Just google translate being goofy.

This was all mocked quite thoroughly when FC1 came out for LOMAC in ages past.
Pretty much the same jokes, too! I’d have to look it up, but I seem to recall Richard Simmons was brought up then as well.
