While doing my normal counter-intel work on the Russian side of ED forums, I found this:
Google translate does some funny stuff. Apparently there is also a DCS: Firing Line coming out.

Hot Rocks… We in the nuclear world affectionately refer to the reactor as the “hot rock” that makes steam.
Therefore, DCS: Navy Nuke confirmed for the new Nimitz - class model.
If it comes with charisma, booze and sea stories, It’s a day one purchase for me
I felt the series really went down-hill after Hot Rocks 2. The twist at the end about the CAG having mutant powers just seemed too far fetched, I kind of lost interest after that. They really dug a hole for themselves ending the trilogy neatly now. The books are far better. WE DON"T EVEN HAVE A TV!
I know i should be writing something here…
Charisma only comes with the Electrician’s Mate module. The Electronics Technician module comes with a free subscription to World of Warcraft and a set of D&D dice, and the Machinist’s Mate module comes with bubble wrap and shiny things.
But all three come with rage, disappointment, a dark sense of humor, and a serious superiority complex.
I am guessing that these are code names? 'Cause I don’t want to take part in DCS: Firing Line as I would be the target
Firing Line == Combined Arms
Hot Rocks == Flaming Cliffs.
Just google translate being goofy.
You beat me to it. It took longer than I would like to admit but I finally saw the parallel
DCS Hot Rocks 3 is a bad translation of Flaming Cliffs 3
You just cant go giving out ED’s secret code names like this
I’m going to look a fool when ED announce Combined Cliffs and Flaming Arms (VR edition) though
Guys, who’d you have to crush my hopes and dreams? Granted, that would also have to be modeled in DCS: Nuke…
I actually prefer Hot Rock to Flaming Cliff…
Isnt this, “Flaming Cliff”? Oh wait, it’s Flaming …
Pffft. Maybe, but he is also the happiest man in existence!
This was all mocked quite thoroughly when FC1 came out for LOMAC in ages past.
Pretty much the same jokes, too! I’d have to look it up, but I seem to recall Richard Simmons was brought up then as well.
