New update!
New mission: The Regiment’s Way (Point Alpha)
Added ability for sufficiently powerful vehicles to push trees down
Overhauled turret audio for most vehicles
Added loading progress bar when entering mission
Implemented several performance optimizations
Improved grass pop-in at edge of LOD distance
Fixed performance issues in AAR mode
Fixed performance issues with vegetation
Fixed issues with incorrect trees spawning in some locations
Fixed particle shadows not working
Fixed some vehicles having 100% camo net spawn rate
Fixed various mission layout bugs
These 2 have made me extremely happy.
That loading screen pisses me right off. I’ve sat there for ages with a crash and not realised
I love GHPC, but it kicks my arse! I last seconds after coming into contact with OPFOR. Still, I want more and intend to keep coming back. Call me twisted. ![]()
A man truly impressed with a loading bar indeed!
They’re nailing it with those 25mm and illum effects. Heck at night it even looks like Puckapunyal range.
I just got randomly blown in Abrams Alley and there was no indication what killed me in the final screen, does anyone have a clue what it could have been? It was a big boom because nobody survived.
A cigarette butt?
Odd that there was no indication. Perhaps an aircraft took you out?
If you were in a Leopard it could have been a problem with the rotary base junction!
Not sure if it shows up on the debrief screen if you get hit by artillery or aircraft …
I think it was just a bug, played Abrams Alley again and no such thing happened nor did I observe any enemy air assets or artillery.
I really have to wonder how much of GHPC’s brilliance can be credited to them self-publishing. They don’t have a publisher breathing down their necks, trying to get them to add tanks that either didn’t exist or didn’t serve in region.
They also added thankless roles, like recon, and I love them for that.
Time spent on recon is never wasted ![]()
