Just to prove @schurem wrong about Zeus eating our other two. It was a lovely day so persuaded our 14 year GSD to join us at the puppy play park. Bailey our badly arthritic golden allowed himself to be lifted up the ramp. Callie bimbled, Bailey staggered but with a waggy tail. Zeus zoomed.

@Johnny Callie gsd is 34kg.

Zeus, being a purebred German line gsd is expected to reach 32 inches at the shoulders. He is now 30 inches at the shoulders so some more growing still to come.

That’s an amazing park! My dogs would go bananas there.

Tractor tyres piled up, a wooden bridge, large and small tunnels, various wooden cable drums for them to sit on, jump over, weaving stakes, shelters and benches for humans. Located just outside Sleaford. Fence will retain most doggies, even a zooming Zeus. @Deacon211. At least 5 acres.

I wager that they all slept well that night :grinning:

We haven’t had to use it for a while but have the exact same ramp for our pooches

When we lived in Canberra we were walking distance access to a Dog Park, unfortunately due to (a minority of) irresponsible owners, fights were common.

Lucky we were members of an obedience club and we would dirve there at least twice per week instead, in addition to saturday training, for dog zoomies.

Our park is exclusive to the hirer. Whoever books it decides who is invited.

They are a little tired right now

That’s great. Whenever we tried to help our ageing dogs get into the car with a ramp or a step they would just try and go round it.

Frustrating, but on the odd occasion I was able to lift them in. Lexi is starting to struggle with it, too - she has a bad hip from an old injury (we think a previous owner kicked her, hard) and is just the same - “why are you putting obstacles in my way?!”

Does my nose look big. I’m getting teased.

That’s an epic nose!

You are a god among insects. Never let anyone tell you different.

That being said: the ears are even better! Large and with possibly fluffy, soft fur. I want to touch them!

My mates done his shoulder in and my back hurts. He limps, I moan. The wife and kids went off with the awful cocker spaniel and went briskly off into the distance while me and my best boy Dozer just ambled and had a sniff.

Dozer looks so amiable

We understand each other. We are both on the downward slope and we know it

And we know Ace to be, so yeah, what they say about dogs and their owners is true, they grow to be mirror images of one another.

Dozer is so amiable that when he goes to the vet he wont even yelp or react to being manipulated in the area that hurts. Just stands there panting.

Makes it borderline impossible to diagnose him. He literally (literally not figuratively) has absolutely no measurable reaction. It would be funny if he wasn’t limping
