That photo proves how much smarter most other animals are compared to humans… taking any opportunity to just chill & relax.
Zuri is doing fine - just passed the 5 month mark, 24kg and teething so she is a bit of a handful at the moment. She started Wednesday morning puppy class at the Canberra Companion Dog Club three weeks ago.
It is a 3 hour round trip but she (like all dogs) needs the socialisation with other pooches and people. We also want to make a ride in the car a positive experience, which is working because last week she stood still for her travel harness and ‘self loaded’

If you want to get fancy with the frozen treats? We use these:
They are also (semi) self righting, so aren’t as messy because they tend not to ‘leak’, especially if you use them indoors.
Other than broth or stock, ours have always liked frozen natural, unsweetened yoghurt

Bertil managed a full walk yesterday evening and another one this morning. He got a full breakfast, divided into two servings, an hour apart. The food was mixed with the anti-nausea drug he was prescribed yesterday.
He seems active, but needs more sleep than normally, possibly due to that drug. But I guess it’s better to have a tired dog that eats and drinks…
He’s due for a check-up at the vet tomorrow.

He seems fine! Thanks for asking.
Went to see the vet today and she said that there was no point in checking his liver values today as he showed no symptoms of pending liver failure. But, we scheduled a new check-up in a week, just to be 100% sure.
