lol. We had a Ridgie that was much the same. We would regularly take him to a dog friendly public swimming hole by the river.
His favourite thing was to take a running leap and dive into the water, completely submerge for a good few seconds then pop up like an emergency surfacing submarine and swim back to shore… And he would do it over and over again

She has certainly made herself at home with us. She gets along very well with Stanley and the cats.
She is a high energy dog when compared to Stanley. You can definitely see a wtf look on his face as she flies by like the Energizer Bunny🤣).

Vacation! Hah. It was a work trip… Even as a civilian I spent a fair bit of time away.
But yeah, he is the most expressive cat we have ever had. This time of year, if he is feeling the cold (he is pushing 20 these days) and we haven’t started the fireplace; he will sit at your feet and give a look that you just know says “why don’t you have my heater going?”.
